Luol Deng had consecutive 20+ games for Miami as they split a double-header on the road at Orlando and New Orleans. The GB forward also scored 12 points in a 115-98 win at home to Phoenix last night. Meanwhile, Joel Freeland made his long-awaited return from injury with a brief two-minute appearance in a win at Sacramento.

Brampton A’s (18-14) finished second in the Central Division and will play London Lightning in the NBL playoffs. Kyle Johnson scored 22 points in a dominant 130-99, before contributing 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the final game win of the regular season. The playoffs have begun in Mexico, and Matthew Bryan-Amaning helped Soles establish a 2-0 lead in their opening round encounter. MBA had 14/8 in the first game, before scoring 21 points in the second to ensure his side defended home court.

Ryan Richards came up big for Kormend (9-13) with a game-high 31 points along with 8 rebounds in a 101-91 victory to keep their top 8 hopes alive. Ashley Hamilton‘s 19 points and 7 rebounds were in vain as Cherkasy (13-12) were unable to make it back-to-back wins for the week and now find themselves in a tie for fourth place in the Ukrainian Superleague.

Pops Mensah-Bonsu had 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in a convincing 105-80 win for AEK Athens (9-9). Justin Robinson made his debut for Kolossos (8-10) and scored 7 points in a 64-63 victory, while fellow GB guard Ogo Adegboye scored 10 to help Aris (11-6) maintain a firm grip on fourth place with a win.

Myles Hesson produced another all-round display for Bremerhaven (6-18) after finishing with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals in a 70-64 home defeat.In Pro-B action, in Germany, Orlan Jackman led Iserlohn (17-4) to victory with 14 points to keep his side top of the South division. Robert Gilchrist scored 8 points as Karlsruhe (12-9) enjoyed a win at home, despite 34 points from former Glasgow Rocks forward Chris Johnson.

Boulazac (15-7) remain in contention for promotion in Pro-B after they claimed a win at the weekend, with Ovie Soko adding nine points. In NM1, Eric Boateng recorded a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds as Mulhouse (12-12) defeated Cognac 93-76 on the road. Tafari Toney scored 8 points as Sorgues (11-13) edged to a three-point win. Robert Marsden was released by Cognac, and re-signed with Manchester Giants just before the BBL deadline. Meanwhile, Shane Walker remains out injured with high-flying Lourdes (18-6).

Dan Clark scored 6 points in an 86-69 defeat for Fuenlabrada (5-17). In LEB Gold action, Devon van Oostrum had 11 points and 4 assists as Penas Huesca (6-15) fell 89-74 at the weekend. Aaron Geramipoor chipped in with 4 points in a 73-66 win for Ourense (15-7) as they continue their title charge.

In Sweden, Michael Ojo had 14 points in a 98-87 win for Eco Orebo (6-24), before adding 19 points and 9 rebounds in a following 82-74 loss at the weekend. Will Neighbour did not play for LF Basket (20-11).Leeuwarden (6-14) suffered defeat in mid-week with Nigel van Oostrum dishing out 5 assists to go with 5 points in the 97-79 loss in the DBL.
