Pops Mensah-Bonsu Posts Big Double-Double on Debut in Greece!

Pops Mensah-Bonsu led new side AEK Athens to an 85-77 win over AGOR on Sunday after producing a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds.

The GB forward shot 10-15 from the field, including some big throwdowns, on his way to 23 points not long since arriving in the Greek capital. Mensah-Bonsu also grabbed five offensive boards, came up with two steals as well as a block in 37 minutes of action.

AGOR were led by Fahro Alihodzic with the Brit scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds to continue his impressive form of late in the A-1 league.

Mensah-Bonsu and Athens (5-6) now have a short break before they are next in league action on the 10th January.
