Alex Owumi Gives Inspiring Talk at TEDxBrixton Recalling Libya Ordeal (Video)

Last month, Worcester Wolves captain Alex Owumi gave a talk at TEDx Brixton to share his unique basketball story which led him to flee Libya in fear of his life.

The Nigerian/American found himself caught in the middle of a civil war after joining a team owned by the late dictator Muammar Gaddafi. Owumi’s incredible story is told in more detail in his popular book ‘Qaddafi’s Point Guard..’ which is available here.
