Jules Dang Akodo Comes Out On Top at DENG Camp Top 50 2014!

In August, we headed down to the inaugural Deng Top 50 camp at Crystal Palace to find out the idea behind the new format of the camp, and see what was going down.

Each of the 50 players attending Deng Camp Top 50 had been hand-selected by a consortium of coaches and underwent a series of individual drills, combine testing, classroom analysis, strength and conditioning training and competitive games during the 3-day event.

It was Jules Dang Akodo who finished up the top ranked player of the camp, which was for U19s, as we spoke to him along with Camp Director Steve Vear, and coaches Don Showalter (USA U16/U17 Head Coach) and Joe Mantegna (Blair Academy Head Coach – Luol’s HS coach).
