Nathan Schall’s Dunk Culminates in NBA Game Invite from Ibaka

Nathan Schall’s dunk at NBA 3X in Manchester, which got NBA star Serge Ibaka up off his feet dancing, has resulted in more than just exposure for the BBL player after Ibaka has invited him to the NBA Manchester game in October.

Schall’s dunk and Ibaka’s reaction was featured on websites across the world, including World Star Hip Hop and social media shares from the NBA’s global Facebook and Twitter accounts, resulting in close to 120,000 views within a couple of days.

Now, Ibaka has reached out to Nathan via Twitter to personally invite him to watch Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Philadelphia 76ers at the Manchester Arena on October 8th as part of NBA Global Games 2013.

Ibaka tweeted:

Still impressed by @nateschall08 dunk so I wanted to invite him 2 the Thunder @NBA Manchester game.You up to it Nate? http://t.co/xRzYRMV0C0

To which Schall promptly responded:
