Great story from Brandon University in Canada, where they’ve held a competition throughout the year that gave students the opportunity to win free tuition.
At men’s and women’s hoops games, a student would be chosen randomly from the stands, and if one of the school’s hoops player drained a half-court shot, the student won. Heading into last Friday, a student was yet to hit the shot, so the school tweaked the rules to allow the student to choose who took the shot.
