It was NBA media day yesterday, meaning it was the first opportunity we got to see GB star Joel Freeland in his Portland Trailblazers kit and for the media to have a chat with him.
And as you’d expect, Freeland is remaining humble as he enters training camp. Talking to the Portland Tribune he said:
“I’m assuming that I’m just going to come in and do what I can to earn a position on the team, and hopefully the hard work will pay off. All I can do is play the way I play, play the way I know and learn. I can’t do any more than that.”

Man, I hope Joel gets decent minutes this season. He’ll most likely be a back up at the 4 behind Aldridge. Oh… and when can we see this Bruce Bowen interview you recenty did?
