I think there are very few NBA players who have had a tougher road to the league than Sacramento Kings rookie Thomas Robinson.
In this interview he talks to Wall Street Journal’s Lee Hawkins about heading into the NBA after the death of family members placed the new responsibility of caring for his 9-year-old sister Jayla in his life.
An All-American at the University of Kansas who was picked 5th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft, Robinson said participating in the NBA Rookie Transition program will help him adjust to life in the NBA, caring for his sister and his plans to become an entrepreneur like Magic Johnson in his post-career.If you haven’t seen Robinson’s original story, check this out – incredibly moving stuff:Via Hoopmixtape
