Former Great Britain Future and Under-20 Paul Guede has signed with German Pro A team BG Goettingen for the coming season.
The 25 year old Londoner moves to Germany from Slovakia, where he played under the same coach, Johan Roijakkers, last season with championship side BC Prievidza.
A 6’5″ swing man, Guede averaged 12.8ppg, 4.6rpg, 1.3apg, 1.4spg, on 44.6% shooting in 45 games during his rookie season.
“I am very happy that I can bring Paul Guede from my Slovakia champion team. We worked together very well. He can play the two and three positions,” explained Roijakkers to Eurobasket.com. “He is athletic, is a great defender and can shoot from outside.”
Guede graduated from NCAA Division 1 school Portland St in 2011, where he averaged 4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in just under 17 minutes per outing in his Senior year.

Congrats to Paul. With GB light in the backcourt, could he make the team for Eurobasket perhaps?
First time I saw him play in person this summer and I was impressed.
