Olympic Basketball Test Event
Team USA did what was expected of them on Sunday afternoon, defeating Spain to claim the gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics.

In a rematch of the 2008 Beijing Olympic games final, it was the same result with Spain once against claiming the silver, despite putting up a solid effort but ultimately falling 107-100.

Kevin Durant finished with 30 points and 9 rebounds, LeBron James added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists, coming up with some clutch baskets to help ice the game, and Chris Paul also came up big in the final minutes.

Pau Gasol was dominant against the USA’s weak frontcourt, finishing with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists, whilst Juan Carlos Navarro was impressive on his way to 21 points.

Box score.
