England U16s suffered their second loss in three classification games so far as they were defeated 68-57 to Russia on Wednesday at the Division A European Championships in Lithuania.
Joe Mvuezolo led England with 11 points, Jules Christian Dang Akado added 10, whilst Theo Oghide finished with 8 points and 11 rebounds.
England will now face a re-match with Czech Republic on Friday afternoon as their hopes of avoiding relegation back to Division B look increasingly slim.
