The England Under-16s’ hopes to avoid relegation suffered a major setback on Tuesday as they suffered an 83-69 loss to Slovenia at the Division A European Championships in Lithuania.
Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye finished 2 assists shy of a triple double with 13 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists, Joe Mvuezolo led the team in scoring with 16 points and 9 rebounds, whilst Theo Oghide had a 13 point, 14 rebound double double.
England will now play Russia, who remain undefeated in the classification group, on Wednesday afternoon.
