Great Britain Under-20s got their first win of the summer with an 80-60 defeat of Slovak Republic on Friday evening in Bristol.
GB led throughout, however head coach Dave Smart still believes there is a lot of work to do:
“It was okay as it was our first game but it clearly highlights that to be successful this summer, we must always play hard and as a team. We must learn to compete for 40 minutes to really be a good team.”
The two teams will meet again tonight (Saturday) at 8pm in a rematch, before GB head to Belgium for a tournament next week.
