Devon van Oostrum has been confirmed as a participant in the 2012 adidas EUROCAMP, where the top international basketball players train in the only officially sanctioned pre-NBA Draft camp outside of the United States.
Taking place in Treviso, Italy June 10-12, the camp brings together the best up-and-coming international basketball talent and offers a platform for them to connect with former and current NBA coaches and players (see the full list of 2012 adidas EUROCAMP participants).
It means no rest for the 1993 born British prospect, who finished the season on Saturday with Caja Laboral on their playoff roster, will join GB Futures this week, before heading to EUROCAMP and then likely be flying to Houston for senior men’s training camp.
More than 45 early entries and draft-eligible participants will play in adidas EUROCAMP 2012 including projected 2012 NBA Draft picks Evan Fournier (France) and Tomas Satoransky (Czech Republic). Former adidas EUROCAMP participants include 56 NBA Draft picks and more than 75 NBA players including Danilo Gallinari (Denver Nuggets), Nicolas Batum (Portland Trail Blazers) and Andrea Bargnani (Toronto Raptors). Nearly 20 former EUROCAMP participants currently hold NBA contracts and more than 60 currently play Euroleague basketball.
Hoopsfix will be going international for the first time ever, attending EUROCAMP for all three days so we’ll be sure to keep you updated on how Devon does!

Great stuff – looking forward to your updates Sam!
Was this the camp where Joel was spotted by the Blazers or was that a different one?
I’m looking forward to giving them!
