The 2011-12 Gatorade National Boys’ Basketball Player of the Year, 6’8 Junior superstar Jabari Parker (who is a 1995 born, having just turned 17 in March) had a magical high school season. 220-pound Parker lead his Simeon Wolverines team (Chicago Public League: Red South) to their best record in school history (33-1) and their third consecutive Class 4A state championship as he averaged 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 3.4 blocks and 1.5 steals per game. He has picked up numerous awards and honours along the way for a season that has him ranked as the number 1 player in the class of 2013.

Parker is being labelled as the best high school basketball player since LeBron James, however, is known just as much for his faith and humble attitude off the floor as he is his talent on the floor.

Props to Ball is Life for the mixtape!
