Luol Deng Considering Europe

Luol Deng
Great Britain and Chicago Bulls star Luol Deng is considering a move to Europe due to the NBA lockout.

The Great Britain forward who averaged 24.6 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists at this summer’s Eurobasket in Lithuania is said to be strongly considering his options as the lockout continues, garnering interest from a number of teams.

Deng has previously said he would have no problem playing in Europe should the lockout happen, but until now, wasn’t known to be actively considering his options . Back in March he said:

“I have no problem with it (a move to Europe). I’ve got to wait and see what the rules are, but growing up in Europe and playing in the summer in European competition, I have no problem doing that, but I don’t want to do that. I want to stay right here and play. We’ll see how it goes. I might not be able to. It might be smart to just wait and see what happens, but at the same time, if it looks like it’s going to be a long time—which we all hope it’s not—I’ve got to see what’s the rules, what’s the options, what can you do and what can you not do because all of us want to be here and play”

Luol averaged 17.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, and 2.8 apg in 39.1mpg last season with the Chicago Bulls, reaching the NBA Eastern Conference Finals and winning the Central Division.

Where would you like to see Luol end up?
