By now, everyone should know about DVO. The top ranked 1993 born international point guard by Draft Express (4th overall) and youngest ever player to suit up for the Great Britain Senior Men, has just been loaned out to Tarragona for the coming season from Caja Laboral after an impressive summer-and here are all his best highlights Hoopsfix caught on camera (footage from warm-ups with GB U20s and men).

This is probs the best video i’ve seen you make…thumbs up
He’s an NBA prospect. Probably the first serious NBA guard prospect from the UK ever?
He needs to really iron out that jumpshot though. It’s respectable, but inconsistent from what I’ve seen. If he can get that to be automatic then it’ll complement his ability to penetrate and dish very well.
I love his European flair.
European the key word – got some work to do on some remaining fundamentals but after that who knows? NBA not necessarily the best place for him to end up in 2013 – the global game has finally gone global – sabonis went years before heading west, DvO has Sheffield grounding, the best available, so let him plough his own furrow like Saba (tho not a guard, obviously)
Watched GB at the London prepares series. DVO is a great prospect, no need to heap pressure like playing in the NBA on such young shoulders. Many great players never played in the NBA (Bodiroga, Oscar Schmidt, Dino Meneghin to name a few) that could have but decided to stay in Europe and be extraordinary here rather than be undeserved bench players in the NBA. Playing in the NBA isnt necesarily the best option playing or £££ wise for some European players.
