Pops Mensah Bonsu Signs Caja Laboral

Pops is going to be playing in Spain next year.

Pops Mensah-Bonsu has officially signed a 1 year contract with an option for a second with ACB side and playoff winners Saski Baskonia Caja Laboral. Mensah-Bonsu who end up playing last season in Russia with CSKA Moscow is looking forward to returning to the ACB, talking to Mark Woods he said:

“This is as a good as it gets, especially in the ACB, you couldn’t ask for more. I wouldn’t have gone if it wasn’t an ideal situation. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s going on. It’s a great league, second only to the NBA. It suits the way I play. I’m looking forward to it.”


Before he gets out to Spain he will finish his Eurobasket qualifying campaign with the GB side where he is averaging a double double (20.5 ppg along with 13.5 rpg) over two games.
