The Newcastle Eagles became the first time to seal their place in the BBL trophy final beating Everton Tigers 97-91 last night for an overall aggregate score of 185-176.

Why the BBL doesn’t make it a 3 game series and drop the aggregate scores I don’t know, but that’s a rant for another day.

The Newcastle Eagles were led by Joe Chapman’s 21 points, backed up by Charles Smith and Lynard Steward with 18 apeice. Everton Tigers forward Olu Babalola led all scorers with 23.
