Slam UK Expressions Ltd presents the 2nd Annual Slam Jam 3 on 3 Tournament on Saturday 13th February at Richmond Upon Thames College.

It will run from 6pm until 9.30pm and will feature;

• A 3 on 3 Basketball tournament (1 sub allowed, boys only). Players wishing to compete must contact Slam UK with each players name and an entry fee of £2.00 per player. (There are only 16 team spots, so get entries in asap!)
• Girls Skills Competition. Entrees will be selected on the day of the event. Chosen competitors will have to navigate a timed obstacle course of either dribbling or shooting, testing their skills of agility, quickness and accuracy.
• Dunk Comp. The highlight of the event, the event should feature some of the best dunkers in the UK. If you wish to compete in this event, contact Slam UK now!

The event will see special guest celebrity judges in attendance, and live DJ’s Ice Cream Family playing the best in hip hop, funky house and more. Prizes include trophies, vouchers for footlocker, Slam Jam merchandise, and media packages (exclusive photoshoots).

Slam Jam is run by a friend of mine and aims to provide a platform for young people to exhibit their talent using a series of basketball events throughout the year. They have a huge focus on social responsibility and have previously worked with the Union of Brunel Students and did a fundraiser for the African & Caribbean Leukaemia Trust , increasing their blood and bone marrow donor list as well as raising just under £300 for them.

Not only is this gonna be a great event but will also be raising money for a great cause, with 50% of all proceeds going to the Haiti Appeal. MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE!
