Flo is on the go

As has been rumoured in the last couple of days, the Everton Tigers’ Dzaflo Larkai left the side today with immediate effect after activating a clause in his contract to accept an offer from a Japanese team for the rest of the season.

The 28 year old power forward from London has been a firm fan favourite this season with a number of impressive performances.

Head Coach Tony Garbelotto talking to the Everton Tigers website said

“We’re naturally disappointed that Dzaflo has decided to take the option to move away to Japan, especially at this stage of the season; but I guess this is a reflection of how highly he is regarded by another league.

I’d like to thank Flo for the great service he has given the Tigers and wish him all the best in his new team and in the future.”
