Pops Mensah-Bonsu made his Russian Superleague debut on Sunday, but couldn’t stop CSKA Moscow from suffering their first loss,  a 94-88 defeat at the hands of Unics Kazan.

Mensah-Bonsu who recently was waived by the Toronto Raptors was however impressive finishing with a statline of 13 points and 7 rebounds in only 15 minutes of action shooting an efficient 6-7 from the field.

CSKA Moscow and Pops are in action again tonight at UNICS.
