Battle of the Brits in Euroleague

January 28, 2010 8:40 am 0 comments

Despite playing only 7 minutes,  Pops Mensah-Bonsu’s CSKA Moscow came out on top last night, 86-78 facing Unicaja and two fellow Brits in Joel Freeland and Robert Archibald.

Mensah-Bonsu finished with 3pts, 1 rb and 1stl whilst Joel Freeland had a respectable 8pts, 5rbs, 1ast and 1stl in 15 minutes of action. It was Scot Robert Archibald who stole the show though, with a solid line of 16 pts (on 6/8 shooting), 5rbs, 1ast and 1stl.

Worth noting that Pops’ only field goal came on a pretty ferocious dunk which you can see in these video highlights.
